Message from the President

Ron Gholson

Successfully managing a small business requires owners to invest in many key aspects of business including:  marketing and advertising, human resources, accounting, legal issues, commercial insurance, costing and more.  To temper those intermittent "overwhelmed feelings," small business owners in our community benefit greatly from membership in the Hobart Chamber of Commerce.

With approximately 400 companies represented, the Hobart Chamber of Commerce offers opportunities for businesses to work together (especially small business with limited resources) to share business ideas, goals, and innovative solutions. We utilize the strengths and ideas from one another to increase the sustainability and vitality of businesses in our community.

Business After Hours, General Membership Meetings, Special Events, Speakers, Roundtables - all offer opportunities  to become acquainted with business owners who share similar challenges and goals.  Finding potential markets is important for growth, but of equal importance is learning new methods that can lead to more productive and profitable work.

Look to the Hobart Chamber of Commerce for business solutions.
